Voinjama, Lofa County โ Team Kwabo has presented LD$40,000 to the Student Council leadership of Lofa County University as an initial contribution toward supporting ten deserving students at the institution.
The presentation was made on Friday, May 1, 2026, by James Wolobah, National Spokesperson of Team Kwabo, who represented the team during the donation.
The contribution forms part of a pledge made by James Papy Kwabo when he served as Induction Officer at the induction ceremony of the newly elected Student Council leadership of Lofa County University.
During the ceremony, Mr. Kwabo pledged to work with the Student Council leadership to support ten deserving students. The amount presented represents the first installment toward the fulfillment of that pledge.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Wolobah said the gesture reflects Team Kwaboโs commitment to youth empowerment and educational advancement in Lofa County.
โThis contribution is not just financial support. It is part of our commitment to invest in the dreams and potential of young people,โ Mr. Wolobah said. โWe believe that education remains one of the strongest tools for personal growth, community transformation, and national development.โ
Mr. Wolobah said Team Kwabo will continue working with young people and student leaders to promote access to education and opportunity, especially for students facing financial challenges.
He added that Mr. Kwabo remains committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to youth development, education, and community progress in Lofa County.
The Student Council leadership received the contribution on behalf of the students and is expected to work through a fair and transparent process in identifying beneficiaries for the support.
